Post Malone pays tribute to Nirvana; to raise funds for COVID-19 Solidarity Fund
Music is one of the escapes that the common man is finding solace in. Be it calm music from your anxiety or classic hits from the nostalgic era.
Taking on this approach, Post Malone has announced his tribute series for the iconic Seattle grunge band, Nirvana. He will be performing a live set of Nirvana’s hits on YouTube on 24 April at 3 pm PST.
He also posted a mirror-selfie on Instagram with the caption ‘text me 817-270-6440’. The number then gave additional information about the concert series.
The event has been organised to gain funds for United Nations Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. Attendees will be able to donate live during the event with Google making a 2:1 donation from their side for every donation received.
Post Malone has become one of the current music stars and has been rumoured to release a new single with Taylor Swift later this month.
