Since the time the couple’s romance became official last week, the breakup insurance sold as a top product on the e-commerce site prior to removal .The Company was offering breakup insurance based on Taylor Swift’s love life following the sighting of her photos with Tom Hiddleston.

Reportedly, the punters had started taking bets on the online marketplace to predict if Swift’s relationship with Hiddleston would end within a limited time-frame. The bet that started with 1 Yuan (US$0.15) saw people investing up to 300 Yuan (US$45).
Online comments suggest that many of those paying for the bizarre insurance were female fans of Hiddleston who is immensely popular in China.
A Chinese daily reported, recently that the Taylor Swift ‘breakup insurance’ is not a one-off, citing that insurance packages for celeb couples such as Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were also available for sale on the site.
