The US President Barack Obama and Celebrity Chef Anthony Bourdain’s US $ 6 meal is a recent buzz. The duo took a trip to Vietnamese capital – Hanoi, for a traditional meal and every bit of the detail was shared by the celebrity chef.

The two stopped by the restaurant to discuss Obama’s trip to Asia and his interest in the people, food and culture of Vietnam, CNN said. Perched on a blue plastic stool, the boys enjoyed their bowl meal – the Hanoi-special made with grilled pork served in a broth or dipping sauce, topped with rice noodles and fresh herbs. On the menu: bun cha, a noodle and grilled pork dish, and Hanoi beer for only US $ 6 and Bourdain did the courtesy and said, “he picked up the check.”
The eatery called Bún chả Hương Liên would have never experienced such a star-studded gathering and for sure the place must have been flocked by now. Bourdain’s dinner with President Barack Obama will be aired soon in September in the upcoming episode of Chef’s TV show called Parts Unknown. ZPZ Production’s Part Unknown is coming back with its eighth season this September, one of CNN’s most popular series.
While observers fixated on small details in the photos on social media such as the red chopstick wrapper on the floor or the symmetry of the dishes on the table, the whole scene will be broadcasted on TV and if you wish to observe more, just wait to know what happened during their meeting.
