‘Hang In There’! Hangover Curing Ice-Creams OUT
Forget the soups, or lemonades with this one coming your way. South Korean hard drinkers found a comfort cure in a hangover-fighting ice-cream. A heavy-boozing night follows with a hangover day. South Korea, known to be one of the hardest-drinking countries has to be the first one to come up with this tasteful and curable alternate.
A convenience store has launched the Gyeondyo-bar, meaning “Hang In There”, a brain freezer that lets you ease out your hangover nights. South Korea, inhabiting Asia’s largest per capita alcohol consumers, would make the ice-cream a major seller for sure; and the wonder is out now!
The country’s annual sales of booze-curing pills and beverages to cosmetics is roughly 150 billion specifically generated from all those who want to keep their skin soft and hydrated after a boozy night, excluding “hangover soups”.
According to The Washington Post, these ice-cream bars contain oriental raisin tree fruit extract and grapefruit flavour. The raisin tree fruit is a traditional hangover cure that dates back to the 17th century.
