As part of the Grand Finale, on Day 5 of the Lakmé Fashion Week 2016 Winter Festive Edition, Sabyasachi Mukherjee decided to unleash a flock of regal looking princesses and prices for the masses to view.

The designer’s focus seemed to be within bedazzled movement that celebrated India’s rich heritage through exceptional handloom and craftsmanship – something that is synonymous with the label. Every garment had a story and identity of its own, a true marriage of history and modernity – a true marrying of history and modernity between the designs.

Glamour and regal femininity characterized the Indian designer’s show which was hoisted at the grand Mehboob Studios in the entertainment capital of India, Mumbai; saving the best for last with a glowing Kareena Kapoor Khan walking down the ramp in an olive green ensemble that matched her eyes… as the onlookers sat dazzled by the opulent charm bestowed upon them.
