Untitled-design-(2)‘If you have a body, you are an athlete’, is Bill Bowerman’s philosophy, who is Nike’s co-founder and the brand is staying totally true to it!

Nike is on a roll and has come up with all things cool to keep up with the changing mindset of the people these days. Recently, Nike Women launched a series of new sports bras, which is causing quite a stir on Instagram, and it is not because of the bras.

Gravity isn’t your BFF 👯 ⠀ Fact (2 of 4): No matter your chest size, gravity can cause tissue damage while you move – sports bras protect you from this. Learn more through the link in our profile. ⠀ #nike #nikeprobra #sportsbra

The activewear mogul has featured a very non-straight-sized woman, confidently showing off the stretchy wear, which is very opposite to what a normal person think about the sportswear giant, as toned-bodies beyond belief and impossibly fit images of professional athletes have been featured by the brand in the past.

This time, Nike has roped in model Paloma Elsesserde and has not typically put her out as a ‘plus-size’ or drawn any attention to her body type; rather they defined the bras as technically advanced and helpful to women who have problems with ill-fitting sports bras. The new face of Nike sports bra, Elsesser, has around 48,000 followers on Instagram and apart from that she can be spotted at Nike Women’s Brahaus pop-up at Bandier in NY City.

Welcome to Sports Bra 101 🤓 ⠀ Fact (1 of 4): Most women wear a band too big and cup too small. Raise your hands above your head. If the band moves up, you may need to size down. Learn more through the link in our profile. ⠀ #nike #nikeprobra #sportsbra

“Timing was in my favour ’cause the internet acted as a catalyst for the fashion industry to change and be more open ’cause people demanded it,” Paloma said.

Well, this is not the first time that Nike has done something ‘real’ in terms of campaign! They featured normal women who hate working out in an ad campaign last year, highlighting the regular women.

Check how happy people are about Nike’s initiative, which is based on real women!

Hold tight ✋ ⠀ Fact (3 of 4): Sports bras are designed to take on more impact than regular bras – this is why the band of your sports bras should fit slightly tighter than your everyday bra. Learn more through the link in our profile. ⠀ #nike #nikeprobra #sportsbra
