Michael Kors is yet another label to join the smartwatch race!

The American fashion designer of sportswear designer, who owns his eponymous brand, has announced his plans to enter the wearable technology market with the launch of the Michael Kors Access Display Watch Line.

The best feature of this new timepiece is that despite its smart features it looks like one of those decorative masterpieces — fashionable and elegant — for which Michael Kors is most famous. What more, the watches serve both as bezel and smartwatch.

The watches will be equipped with Android Wear features, including social media updates and text and email alerts, app notifications, built-in fitness tracking and smart help from Google.

Commenting on his new venture, Michael Kors said, “I’m in the business of making people’s lives easier through fashion. Why can’t tech accessories be chic and glamorous? You wear them every day.”

“After all, technology is impacting life more and more. It should reflect your personal taste as much as anything else, but it should also give you access to all the experiences that you want,” he added.
