wonderwomanSoon after Gucci chose to infuse street art into its clothing line, now it is designer Maison Valentino’s turn to team up with Roman street artist SOLO for its latest collection, or rather capsule collection — Wonder Woman — a collection that reflects the designer’s ode to women and womanhood.

To get a glimpse of this collection, fashion enthusiasts will need to visit their Milan, Rome, and New York flagships to get an exclusive in-store experience. SOLO will recreate a DC comic superhero icon, different for each of three cities, to showcase this collection.

wonderwoman1This capsule collection is an extension of the designer’s pre-Fall 2016 collection, featuring an explosion of patterns, colours and silhouettes, and star-studded motifs all across the dress.

The collection includes coats and jackets, priced at $25,800, tops at $3,590; bottoms at $1,100, whereas the sneakers will be priced at $1,145. The collection will be available at only some select Valentino stores.

After the final touch the #WonderWomanValentino mural by street artist SOLO (@flaviosolo) is complete. #FuoriSalone

SOLO, who already presented live visual treats at the  Rome (April 14) and Milan (April 10) flagships earlier this month, will give the last of his three live performances at the brand’s Fifth Avenue New York flagship store from this Wednesday to Friday.

The artwork in our Milan Flagship Store dedicated to #WonderWomanValentino collection is almost finished! Join us live on #Periscope now to find out more about @flaviosolo and his inspiration with @eleonoracarisi #FuoriSalone #FuoriSalone2016 #Solo
