FDCI to go digital for fashion week
India has been in the grip of the pandemic and the fashion fraternity has been affected severely.
Fashion weeks in India have proven to be crucial for designers to get exposure in the media as well as connect with new buyers from all around the world. However, due to the highly contagious nature of the virus, fashion weeks seem to have a dim future.
However, Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has announced that they will be going digital for the coming fashion week. This is the first time that a fashion week organising body has taken things digitally and continued showing support to the fashion industry.
FDCI announced it on their Instagram post that garnered several positive reactions as well as supportive comments with some showing intrigue as well as enthusiasm for the same.
