Converse x Carhartt: classics get an upcycled update!
Upcycling is gaining traction in the fashion word as enormous amounts of dead stock plague the warehouses.
The popular sneaker brand Converse has taken similar inspiration by upcycling vintage Carhartt apparel into the classic Chuck 70s.
The new line is made from materials like denim that were a part of jackets and trousers which are thicker than knit T-shirt fabric which may destabilise the design.
The rest of the shoe is pretty similar to the regular Chuck 70s with a high top, contrast white stitching and the Converse All Star logo. One distinguishing change is the top of the tongue of the shoe features the Carhartt logo popped on it.
