Hanifa’s collection

Physical fashion shows don’t seem relevant in the post-COVID world, which is why brands are increasingly moving to digital alternatives to showcase their designs to the customers.

Anifa Mvuemba has debuted a virtual collection entitled Pink Label Congo for her brand Hanifa with 3D models donning the pieces of the collection.

Interestingly, her take does not show any physical features of a human model but shows the garments over a moulded body which looks like it is made of air.

We can’t say thank you enough for all of your support. The full #PinkLabelCongo🇨🇩 collection is now available on Hanifa.co | Watch the replay on our IGTV✨.

The models can be seen walking in Hanifa’s Instagram post where her garments showcase many African references like bright colours, ruched gathers and flowy fabrics. According to Anifa, the models were created even before the lockdown was announced which gave time for her team to develop designs on the models.
