UGGs picks Terrence Jenkins for Men Spring 2016 campaign
Known for winter products, UGGs has recently forayed in spring collection and for their upcoming Men Spring 2016 campaign, the shoes brand has chosen actor and host Terrence Jenkins as the face of the campaign. Styles worn by Jenkins feature Treadlite by Ugg, which leverages RMAT technology – a material compound with rebound and durability that create a lightweight and ultra-durable outsole.
“Terrence is renowned for his great style and is constantly on the go,” said Alice Hampton, Senior Director of Global PR for UGG. “With his busy schedule, he is the perfect ambassador to communicate how these styles transition from day to night with Treadlite by UGG™ technology, making them ultra-comfortable, lightweight and yet still fashion forward,” the company added.
The campaign, lensed by photographer Jeremy and Claire Weiss in Downtown, Los Angeles, lines up shoes specific to occasions. It is a styling cued from day to night. The sporty casuals have been infused with brand’s heritage details and innovative technology for signature UGG comfort. The shoe featured in the campaign – Hepner Woven, is a handsome shoe showcasing mixed materials and interchangeable insoles, one set with 7 mm UGGpure™ and another lined with leather.
“I have always loved UGG slippers in fact I received my first pair for Christmas years ago they have always been a wardrobe staple. Wearing the shoes on this shoot completely opened my eyes to the UGG brand,” said the host, actor and producer.
“The Treadlite technology makes the shoes feel amazing, plus they can be worn year round whether you are in New York, LA or on the other side of the world. These styles are fresh, super lightweight and versatile,” he added.
The campaign will go live on the UGG website and UGG for Men social media channels.
Also, the campaign will be seen throughout UGG concept stores worldwide and digital advertising platforms.
