Jacqueline Fernandez Steals the Show for Rajesh Pratap Singh

Bold pin stripes, checks, grainy textures, flared trousers and ikats over a fabric list that boasted of paper, silk, linen and cotton all woven in-house with a washed organic feel made up 'The Punjabi Suit' collection by Rajesh Pratap Singh at Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2016. Earth tones paired with creamy neutrals formed the color palette for the collection which was broken by an occasion metallic disco-ish touch introduced by strategically placed detailing in the garments. Well-tailored blazers in all lengths - even coats - for both menswear and womenswear segments were spotted in the collection ringing true the trend, for the approaching winters. Nehru jackets, baggy salwars and drop crotch trousers, nostalgic school-girl dupattas brought about the 'punjabi' vibe in the showcase. The showstopper moment of the day was well served by the stunning, Jacqueline Fernandez, looking every inch the beauty she is in a shimmering jacket complete with flounces details and cropped pants - an outfit best suited for the experimental fashion aficionados.
